Аннотация

Working remotely or from home has become the new normal in the wake of COVID-19. Face-to-face interactions and crowded workstations are now avoided due to social distancing, with most tasks and targets being accomplished online. In this context, technology has gained momentum, leading to the increased application of artificial intelligence (AI) across various management functions. AI assists organizations in completing tasks more efficiently and swiftly. Like other functions, AI has enhanced HR functions, starting from automated recruitment processes to performance appraisals and training and development (T&D). This article examines the role of AI in various HR functions, exploring its opportunities and challenges in human resource management (HRM). The study concludes that AI plays a crucial role in handling HR functions such as recruitment, hiring, performance appraisal, T&D, job allocation, reducing workplace workload, and enhancing workplace efficiency. Additionally, the study provides insights into the future goals of artificial intelligence.
